Kendyl Schofield is a visual artist based in Salt Lake City, Utah, working primarily in oil paint. She earned her BFA with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing from the University of Utah in 2020.

Her recent studio practice has focused on Landscapes of the Mountain West region as well as the people and animals who inhabit the area. Working from life with plein-air studies and finding inspiration from vintage photographs, Kendyl aims to use the act of painting as a tool to explore how we interact with and observe the world around us.

Outside of the studio Kendyl enjoys getting away to camp/travel with her partner and dog as much as possible.
